A77 Hansel Footbridge
Outline of Project
Cadogans were appointed as Lead Consultant for this Design & Build Project – a 33m span footbridge across the A77 in Ayrshire, complete with ramps and stairs.
As Lead Consultant on this project, Cadogans were responsible for the conceptual design at tender stage, and the Category III check on the whole footbridge. Cadogans were also responsible for ensuring that the project complied in full with the Employer’s Requirements.
Cadogans main responsibilities were:
