Cadogan Consultants were appointed as Checker for the rainscreen cladding to be fixed to the sides of the ECML Bridge near King’s cross, London. (The photograph above shows the bridge without the cladding and the photograph below shows the bridge with the cladding)
Cadogan Consultants were responsible for the checking and verification of the manufacturer’s designs and the provision of a complete set of check calculations.
Cadogan Consultants were also responsible for ensuring that the cladding complied with the Employer’s Requirements.
Cadogan Consultants main duties were:
- Independent Design Check of cladding design
- Provision of Check Calculations
- Compliance Check on Employer’s Requirements
