Outline of Project
An employee at a glass bottle making factory suffered a hand injury when it was caught in an glass bottle making machine which started to operate unexpectedly. The employee raised a civil action against the employer.
A senior member of Cadogan Consultants staff was appointed as expert witness for the employee. The work included consideration of the control, safety provisions, operation and maintenance of the machinery.
A report was written and submitted and expert evidence was given at the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
The employee's action was unsuccessful.
