Mixing Machine Personal Injury

A mixing machine in a soap factory was modified for production reasons soon after it was purchased.
However, the modification works were carried out in such a way that an important safety interlock no longer functioned as intended. As a consequence an operator was able to put his hand into the mixer while it was still operating. He lost part of some of his fingers.
Cadogans acted for the employer and the case was settled out of court.
