Cadogan has worked for many years to establish itself within Bangladesh as a developer of power generation projects. Cadogan put together a special purpose company to develop a 500 MW CCGT power station at Meghnaghat in Bangladesh. The principal partner is Manning Industries Inc. of Houston, Texas. The project will be financed by Stone & Youngberg of California (the first privately financed project in Bangladesh). The Cadogan Manning Group will be an IPP with a 22 year contract to build, own and operate the power station.
