Building Services Engineering

Cadogans has operated in the Building Services Sector for 35 years and enjoys a reputation for innovative design, attention to detail, a hands-on approach and the provision of a high level of service to its clients.

The company operates from our Glasgow and Dundee offices and its staff comprises a close knit team which regularly works between both offices as required to suit the demands of particular projects.

We employ both professionally qualified and technician engineers and our staff mix ranges from graduates to chartered senior professionals. Our staff hold memberships of a range of professional institutions including CIBSE, Energy Institute, Institution of Mechanical Engineers and Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Our client base is wide ranging and includes, for example, commercial and industrial organisations, health authorities, local councils, private educational establishments and housing associations, many of which have retained Cadogans’ services over many years. This is in line with our policy to seek partnership agreements and long-term relationships wherever possible.

The largest percentage of our workload comes from repeat business and recommendations from satisfied clients.

The work we undertake ranges in scale from small investigative type commissions up to, for example, the provision of full design services for highly serviced and complex healthcare projects of some £7million construction value with £3 million mechanical and electrical services content.

We regularly operate as part of a design team and are experienced in dealing and co-ordinating with professionals in the full range of construction related disciplines.
